When is a skirt no longer a simple alternative to a pair of pants? Well, when it is the theme of an exhibition opening next week at the Prada Epicenter in New York. “Waist Down – Skirts by Miuccia Prada” hits SoHo after tours through Tokyo and Shanghai. One hundred skirts from the Prada archive will be displayed in a non-retail format to best illustrate the dynamic movements of the human body, from the waist down, of course. Skirts in motion, the skirt as art – we can’t wait till April 19th.
Waist Down – Skirts by Miuccia Prada runs from April 19 through May 31st at the Prada Epicenter, NYC.
