Eric Finzi has his art down to a science. Finzi paints with epoxy resin, a dangerous business on account of the fumes. He mixes the resin with its catalyst and then waits for time to play its part in the chemical process that acts on the layers of resin. Finzi describes the planning that goes into the procedure akin to the acts of a play, that one must take place before the other. He creates his pictures by using syringes, needles and a propane torch. The results are dreamy images of friends and muses of Lewis Carroll.
