Büro North, an Australian design company, created the Chiodo Splash, an installation piece for the Melbourne Design Festival. The Splash is meant capture the richness, beauty and rarity of water cascading into the stairs of an upmarket clothing store, a moment frozen in time. Initially a digital form of a water splash had to be created and then translated into reality while keeping the same shape and look. The sculpture was the award winning entry at the Melbourne Design Festival in 2005.
