Over 500 works of art from the animation work of Pixar Studios are on loan to the Museum of Modern Art in New York as part of the exhibition Pixar: 20 years of Animation. In addition to several digital installations, the collection includes paintings, sculptures and concept art, all of which show a strong relationship between traditional animation and digital media as Pixar changed the face of animated films. A complete retrospective of Pixar films will be shown during the exhibition which runs through February 6th.
