Montreal artist Edgardo specializes in stream-of-consciousness watercolours that are very simple, yet tightly packaged bursts of colour on paper. These small abstracts evoke gentle creatures of the imaginary, sea horses or exotic flora. Though there is always a softness about Edgardo’s work, the vivid colours keep the pictures (described by the artist as “a dance and poetry of colour on paper”) lively.
