The collages of painter Mark Fox are intricate assemblages of thousands of tiny drawings of watercolour and ink. Fox painstakingly cuts out and reassembles these miniatures as a mass of layers to create sculptural collages that are not stingy with dimension. Fox includes references to a huge variety of subjects within his works: Bosch, Bruegel, mythology, current events, doodles, comic books and his own thoughts and lists being just some of the ideas represented in the collages and paintings.
