The Traveler series by Walter Martin and Paloma Munoz is a set of unusual miniature travel scenes that take place in six-inch snow globes which are then captured forever in c-prints. These, of course, are not regular tourist-oriented snow globes, but ones that might take the place of a confused or quirky dream or nightmare. Traveler 136 at Night has one traveler tipping his hat to another who tips his entire head in return. Traveler 3, a schoolgirl meeting up with a Daddy Warbucks type, is too poorly dressed, like many of her fellow travelers, to be in a snow globe at all. Many of these commuters wear business suits and seem ill-prepared for the variety of wintry adventures that await them, the type of thing that might happen if you get off at the wrong stop.
