Member of the Royal Art Lodge (along with nephew Marcel Dzama and Michael Dumontier), Canadian Neil Farber opened a new show October 15th at the Richard Heller Gallery in Santa Monica. Farber’s brightly coloured inks are ever-delightful forays into a fantasy world that looks, in the simplest of terms, as though it mirrors the imagination of a child. Farber is big on groups: a multitude of draculas, a gang all in yellow, umpteen black-haired beings right side up and upside down, and frogs, everywhere frogs.
