Flavia de Rin is a young Argentine artist who digitally manipulates drawings and photographs to express a vision of her world. De Rin is one of one hundred young artists just out of art schools all over the world chosen to participate in a group exhibition at the Fondation Cartier Pour l’Art Contemporain in Paris. Her work is bold and challenging, a perfect example of bad girl art that combines drawing, photography, digital manipulation, and graffiti with the ubiquitous self-portraits and schoolgirl scribblings that are a signature to her work. A neat South American take on the wide eyes of anime neo-pop.
