Gregory Colbertís exhibition of 200+ large-scale photographic artworks depicting the peaceful connection between man and beast opened March 5 in New York. These sepia-toned works cannot but evoke a sense of the spiritual, bestowing calm upon the viewer. Colbert collaborates with various elements of nature (elephants, whales, falcons, children, monks), seeking to harmonize manís links to the world around him. Ashes and Snow is now on until June 6 at the Nomadic Museum, Pier 54. Check your cynicism at the entrance.
