Meta MoCo and the book review will be published early next week.

It's day two of the the 3-day show and on our second day at CA Boom II we do a home tour. The Venice tour takes us to the residences of Omura / Galperin, Kozely / Farmer, David Hertz & Family and Sheldon - more photos after the jump. It's also our last day at the show, but there's more show on Sunday and there's more coverage at Land+Living and TreeHugger.

The first images are in. The Santa Monica Civic Center is above and the exhibitors are after the jump. A big thank you to Anita, Susan and Ned for providing the internet connection and the shuttle!
... and our dauntless correspondent Shane already has a sunburn, so be gentle. Images at six, or whenever he gets to the PC. In the meantime CA Boom II blog co-sponsors Core77 and Land+Living will also be covering the event so tune in those RSS channels as well.

Rocking chair- and chaise longue-in-one.
No doubt comfortable, this laminated wood frame of a chair is in fact gradated to enhance depth perspective from the side. Each element is progressively wider towards the middle which also makes the chaise more stable. Computer assisted design and fabrication makes chairs like these increasingly possible. Designer Hiroshi Tsunoda knows his way around these bits as his portfolio attests, to whit; the K Chair and K bench, laser cut from a single sheet of aluminum, the Outable outline table, the Chic series lamps with laser cut seasonal motifs and the art piece Ola wine rack.
