Prefab Mo-Co homes for $65K+. Minnesota-based Alchemy Architects have created the weeHouse for customers who want an architect and a house for $65,000 (and up). A cheap and sturdy house/cabin/addition/office, the weeHouse is available as studios, one- and two-bedroom, kitchen/living, sleeping, and stair models. As expected, everything is customizable to fit your needs. Prefabricated and delivered by truck, all you need is the land, a foundation and hook-ups to utilities. Alchemy is also featured in the book New American Additions and Renovations mentioned here earlier this month.

Water heat radiator for pillars. Belgian radiator manufacturer Jaga makes a range of modern water radiators including the Iguana Circo pillar cover. Designed by Ivo Nysten, the Circo model features a new water system that feeds the slim triangular radiant pipes placed alongside each other in a full circle. Jaga radiators also have Low-H2O technology that uses less water, has more responsive heat control and doesn’t “buffer” heat in the metal or water making it more energy efficient.
Bed inspired by Ligne Roset Lover settee. Designer Pascal Mourgue has taken his Lover settee design to the next level, a bed with his trademark high, curving headboard. The bed has an upholstered base covered in removable ticking. Fittingly, Lover has its own range of bedding (duvet cover, sheet, pillowcases & bolster cover) available in white, ochre or terra cotta satin. The mattress is 15 or 16cm thick and the bed 160x200cm or 180x200cm.
