Traditional glass jugs in wicker baskets are reinterpreted and become jugs made of interwoven glass and wicker.

Details: A collaboration between two Italian designers based in Amsterdam, Alberto Fabbian and Paola Amabile, Pane e Vino explores the relationship between the crafts processes of blown glass and woven wicker.

The project takes inspiration from baskets and jugs of glass, traditionally associated with bread and wine, essential elements of a traditional table.

"They identify their role as responsible explorers by investigating new connections among actors, processes and knowledges, between tradition and innovation. Their purpose is to create positive impacts by transferring contents that can be shared in several forms, whether they be objects, situations or food for thought." says their design studio, Faberhama.
