Representing: Palafitos Installation by Javier Requejo pays testament to social, political and environmental crises and a people's mourning with 13 black houses on stilts that resemble the homes, stilted against flooding, found in some regions of Chile.

Details: Palafito is a type of stilt house (palafitte) village found in Chile, also Venezuela, Colombia, and Brazil.

Designer: Working from his eStudio Nap in Spain, Javier Requejo Fernández is an interior designer and artist (mainly sculpture and painting), whose influences include Philippe Starck, Simon Micheli and his father (also an interior designer).
