For Bologna Water Design at Cersaie, with the aid of parametric software, a series of localized bottles were created to visualize the specific characteristics of different sources of water.

"In South Tyrol, the tap water is of high quality. To entice the local population to consume the tap water instead of the one sold in bottles, and create a bond of identification with the local source, we decided to realize a carafe specific for each individual source." says Trenker.

"The characteristics of each source - pH, hardness, temperature, conductivity and altitude of the source - were translated into three-dimensional form with the aid of a parametric program."

'Transparent' was realized in collaboration with Prof. Kuno Prey of the Faculty of Arts and Design at the Free University of Bolzano and will be shown at Bologna Water Design from September 23 to 28, 2013.
