Dell'Elce adds, Stillness "aims to enhance the most interesting features of OLEDs in terms of lighting emission: softness of light, low luminance and a calm and gentle glow."

Consisting of 64 mirrored OLED panels measuring 58 x 63 x 1 mm arranged in a three-dimensional grid, Stillness is defined within a rectangle whose side lengths are in the golden ratio (approximately 1:1.618), "an aesthetically pleasing proportion expressed in classic art and architecture as well as in nature."

"The inclination of the panels of Oleds gives the piece a perfect visibility from any angle of a room and helps to diffuse the light in its surrounding, while the mirrored surface creates a play of reflections between the different sources of light."
