Trame Light Object by Sébastien Cordoleani
by Harry / February 4, 2013

Trame is an object that is "something between art object and functional lamp made out of spray-painted perforated sheet steel."

Or so says Okolo, who tipped us to the work by Cordoleani. Trame is an object that disguises itself says the designer, only when switched on do the colours painted on the inside surfaces appear through the thin perforated steel exterior.

"This object of contemplation, stretched out like a screen, offers two different decors : one on each surface. Trame questions decor and colour, and proposes a polychromatic, object of many forms and facettes."

Trame was designed for Galerie Gosserez in limited editions. Photos : Maxime Champion.
