Says Choi, "This furniture is for someone who lives alone or lives in a small space [where] the user does not need all the different pieces of furniture."

The top of Badac is divided into eight pieces and includes two backrests, a lamp, a coffee table and a shelf.

Three plain seats provide seating options and all the seats are reversible. "For example, the user can flip over a coffee table when it is needed."

"With different holes on the seats and different position of mortise joint, the user can identify what the object is."

"This is meant to follow the principle of affordance design."
