Oblique Lamp by Simone Spalvieri and Valentina Del Ciotto

At the 2012 London Design Festival designers Spalvieri / Del Ciotto were showing a ceramic lamp for Established & Sons whose shape follows function.

Designed to be hung from the ceiling, Oblique can also be used as a wall lamp or table lamp. Says Simone Spalvieri, "Oblique is a lamp that is born to fulfill all your luminous requirements."

Some functional aspects, such as the large hollow or the slanting side, become solid and discernable aesthetic elements."
