Joanna Szkiela's new ring collection is inspired by the magical and divinatory powers of Runes. "In Norse mythology, Runes are attributed with the power to bring life and energy even to that which is lifeless and dead."

ALGIZ: sanctuary, divine protection

Szkiela continues, "thus, Odin recounts a spell (stanza 157 of Hávamál, Viking poetry):

"I know a twelfth one if I see, up in a tree,
A dangling corpse in a noose,
I can so carve and color the runes,
That the man walks, and talks with me."

INGUZ: true love, harmony, fertility

KENAZ: fire, knowledge, enlightened mind

MANNAZ: spirit of humanity, man, divine union

TEIWAZ: victory, warrior, triumphant

OTHALA: heritage, ancestral home
