LA-based architects Catherine Johnson and Rebecca Rudolph have collaborated with photographer Meiko Takechi Arquillos to create a series of images that pay homage to architectural portraits past and present.

The black and white enhanced inkjet prints feature Johnson and Rudolph and include wigs and props.

Part of the "COME IN! les femmes" exhibition, the collaboration with photographer Meiko Takechi Arquillos is on view at the Architecture + Design Museum in Los Angeles through September 8, 2012.
