Yong Joo Kim has created a collection of unique, light-weight wearable art objects made primarily of Velcro hook-and-loop fasteners.

Created for new design brand Sublime Experiment, the jewelry is the product of five years of research and development into making wearable art from non-precious materials.

Says Yong Joo Kim, "In that process, I have witnessed- over and over again - that beauty arises from what may seem like ordinary or even mundane objects when you give them your sincere empathy and persistent trust. I think of the work as manifestations of the age old idea of inner beauty."
