Designer Nathalie Dewez has created a monumental inflatable chandelier for the great hall of the Mudam Contemporary Art Museum in Luxembourg.
The made-to-measure chandelier was created to mark the fifth anniversary of the Museum. Measuring three meters in diameter on the outside, the lamp consists of three concentric spheres that gradually light up as night falls.
In addition to being moveable, the lamp is actually a mobile and can be raised or taken down when needed. The huge sphere can be detached from the axis and the counterweight and housed in the belfry to make room for installations that require the space.
