The Eyrie Chair is an ode to natural constructions like the birds nest. Says Wubben, "During my search for branches I was specifically interested in the forms. The specific forms of these wooden branches inspired as well in making this design."

Steam bent Ash was used for making the nest, the connections between the slats are made using an Ash 'pin' and wood glue all of which sits on a frame formed by wooden branches.
