A collaboration between woodworkers Rota-lab and wrought-iron workers Arte Stenico, Carmela is "a visually light table: crystal top to show the supporting structure, wood legs (ash and paduk woods) for its beauty and tactile nature and iron for its intrinsic strength."

Rota-lab is a "laboratory of applied arts based in Rome, Italy, dedicated to the hand-crafted creation of original works of interior design."
