Victor Vetterlein has created a surprisingly versatile desk lamp with a wood stick.

The 1 x 1 lamp is composed of a wood stick (made from factory waste) that is weighted at one end, a bendable aluminum rod with a neoprene cover, and an inset low voltage LED lighting strip.

The colored neoprene base comes in a pre-bent 'support' ribbon shape, however the user is free to bend the base into their own configurations to direct the light and personalize the design.

Says Vetterlein, "1x1 gives the consumer the opportunity to be co-creator. One by one, we can change the world."
