At the Dock en Seine for Paris Design Week, designer Xiral Segard is showing a modular concrete vase inspired by Japanese "bento" boxes.

Known for her works made of concrete, Segard has created a series of domestic items that "make the best use of modular design and clearness."

Made entirely of concrete, Konkurïto consists of four modular, stackable elements and a cover. Depending on the size of the bouquet, the water reservoir can be located at the top or bottom.

When not in use holding flowers, the vase becomes a container with a lid.

Konkurïto and two other projects by Segard can be seen at Cité de la Mode et du Design now until September 18th, 2011.
