Sweden's Unit Arkitektur has designed a lamp for their new office using parametric modeling software and a set of mathematical equations.

The lamp is four meters long and a half meter wide.

Parametric was constructed by assembling 103 individual laser cut parts, cut from 3 mm birch ply-wood.

The pieces were put together with zero tolerance and hence no glue.

Says architect Mikael Frej, "All parameters are in place and we can now mass produce this 70s-retro-pool-hall-light-fixture to the masses."
