Fioriness Lamps by Laurent Corio
by Harry / September 6, 2011

Designer Laurent Corio has created the first lamps for design gallery Secondome, called Fioriness, the name, and the lamps by extension, are a poetic combination of the french and italian: "fiori", "fleurs", and "flirter" which means "to flirt".

The hand blown glass table lamps attempt to capture the "emotions and play of a candle light dinner or an August summer sunlight. These sparkles of light define the flower standing in its vase as the witness of a promising story."

Corio is the latest designer to join a growing team of creators at Secondome.

Fioriness will be show at Maison&Objet Paris as part of Here&(T)here, an exhibition by Secondome and Fabrica featuring works by Margaux Keller, Valentina Carretta, Sam Baron, Dean Brown, Marie Dessuant, Elliott Burford, Catarina Carreiras and Jaeun Park from September 9 to 13, 2011.
