Alain Berteau has designed a billiard ball shaped USB key made of Bakelite, the same material used to make balls for pool.

8G USB Key 21

The 8 gigabyte USB key is comprised of two identical 21 mm diameter Bakelite beads, that when closed are attached side by side. Available in blue, yellow, mauve, black, orange, red and pink - official snooker colors.

Berteau's USB key is one of two new items he has designed for Tamawa that will be shown at the Maison&Objet show in September (9th to 13th). The other is a salt and pepper grinder.

S&P 57" salt and pepper grinder

The S&P 57 salt and pepper grinder is comprised of three 57 mm diameter Bakelite beads and a CrushGrind®, a unique mechanism whose design, material and resistance allows it to grind either pepper or salt. The S&P 57 is available in blue, yellow, mauve, black, orange, red and pink and any coloor combination possible.

The S&P 76 salt and pepper grinder has only two 76 mm diameter Bakelite beads and the CrushGrind® mechanism.
