Light Forest by Tineke Beunders & Nathan Wierink

Designers Tineke Beunders and Nathan Wierink have created a new modular lighting system for the ceiling made of coated aluminum tubing and copper.

Say the designers, "The possibilities are unlimited. The design consists of different parts, which can be connected on the ceiling." The system can easily expand and as lights are added piece by piece they gradually "overgrow" the ceiling.

Light Forest is also flexible enough so that light points can be placed exactly where needed, on the wall for example. Instead of being hindrances, obstacles or height differences enhance the beauty of the lights.

Light Forest is currently on display at IMM Cologne's D3 show.
