At this year's Maison & Objet designer Matali Crasset will be showing her first rug for Nodus called Roots.

Resembling the underside of tree's root system, Matali Crasset's brown roots extend beyond the edge of the rug.

Also on display will be Lachaert and D'Hanis' Palette rug, their third design for the Italian rug manufacturer.

"Inspired by the beauty of the Italian fresco they filled their palette with soft, almost transparent colours. A dash of white, of greyish pink. Smudges of intense blue, soft green, white. A palette filled with emotional colours. Personal. Poetic."

Palette buyers will be able to order a custom version of the Palette filled with their own colours which Nodus will translate to 266 different colours of wool.
