1. Nowhere But Yajima by Yasutaka Yoshimura
I mean we can default to "holy s**t, look at that f**king view." But really, it's so much more than that, isn't it? The concrete (or is it stucco?) ceiling and walls, the Wrong Woods-esque flooring, just everything. Merry Christmas to my eyeballs.

2. Living on the Edge by Arjen Reas
This takes "no smoking within 50 feet" to a whole other level.

3. MTH House by AAT + Makoto Yokomizo Architects
What's the appeal here? This reminds me of what happens when a developer buys an old industrial warehouse and then converts it to tiny white condos for as cheaply as possible.

4. DIY Morivian Star by schindlersalmerón
Whenever designers make something this accessible a very tiny piece (a sliver, really) of my cold, black heart goes back to normal.

5. Rip + Tatter Kid's Chair by Pete Oyler
Nothing quite says Christmas like "here, love! It's your new paper cut chair." I hope there are bandaid stocking stuffers.
