My Top5 This Week

I originally liked this house because it's been named "Hermit's House," but then sort of fell out of love with it when it was described as an "exhibition space."

I originally liked this house because it's been named "Hermit's House," but then sort of fell out of love with it when it was described as an "exhibition space." Those two do not belong.

2. No. 3 Bench by Floris Wubben

So I'm pretty vocal and animated and opinionated and I'm also your typical loud American. But, you know, I'm also polite. I don't run up to furniture and yell to the designer "this is crap!" while I light it on fire. And I don't feel that way about this No. 3 bench, either. But! I am alone in my apartment and when I did look at this for the first time just now I said aloud "Oooooh, shit! What the f**k is going on here!" Which I kind of dig. Most of time I'm either "girl boner" or "pft." It's nice to feel again. Thank you, No.3 Bench.

Whoa! It'd be pretty cool if we could see what all those windows were looking at, eh?

This house belongs in TRON, not Tokyo.

5. Letters Furniture by Alessandro di Prisco

Thank you, Alessandro di Prisco. I'm constantly complaining about the lack of cool furniture for the little ones, and I don't even have kids. It's nice and refreshing to see that someone is designing for tots and also being clever. Love the colors, too!
