1. Xiangyang Road Private Residence by ZEROLABOFFICE

This house is a metaphor for not judging a book by its cover. It's basically an Apple store in there.

2. Wasborn Apartment by Caiano Morgado Arquitectos Associados

It's 9:45 in the morning and I've had some caffeine and I was just reading the description of this place and at "...need to re-adjust layout and flow to purpose, and the wish to promote the relationship..." annnnd my eyes are glossy over and suddenly I'm back in bed, fast asleep.

3. Hölick Sea Resort by Mats Edlund & Henrietta Palmer

"Compact cottages"? Are you serious? Just because it's not 15,000 square feet like the architect's main residence, doesn't mean it's "compact." With that said, schwing!

4. Bouldin Residence by Alter Studio

I'm really into this house. It had me at "vertical cedar siding." And the windows! They're so large and wonderful, but not in a typical way. And it's in Austin, which is adorable!

5. Querosene House by Alvaro Puntoni

I don't understand you people. How is this not the most liked post of the week? The windows were basically designed to show off the owner's 7,500 book collection. What's cooler than that? No iPod docking station. And then there's the concrete ways and concrete walls. This is my dream home.
