Floating Frames by Kiki van Eijk

Like sketches come to life, Kiki van Eijk's Floating Frames are brass wire objects made functional by way of ceramics.

Evoking 3D drawings, the objects are impressive in their scale: all seem larger than life, yet display a delicate nature.

The collection is very feminine, with a chandelier that is reminiscent of a woman's hat.

Grandmother Clock - the name says it all.

Shown in tandem with Joost van Bleiswijk's 'no screw no glue rough' collection, the Floating Frames are typical van Eijk creations in that a juxtaposition of materials is one of the attributes.
