Dutch designer Floris Wubben presents his No. 3 Bench. Corrugated propylene draped over a natural wood surface with lacquered metal rods.

"Although (the plastic and the wood) are different materials, they need each other to conquer the whole design" says Wubben.

At his workshop in Hertogenbosch, Wubben likes to work with reclaimed wood, veneers and other traditional materials. The juxtaposition of the traditional with the industrial "gives the material a new purpose" he says.
