A portable lamp made of gel and a stackable table made of paper. Designer Federico Delrosso uses new materials in these two new archetypal designs.

Estasi is a soft, metaphorical lamp that reinterprets the history of lighting with its light bulb shape, a shape that seems destined to vanish. Its main feature is Technogel in which the LED light source is immersed. "The softness of the material is reflected not only on the physicality of the lamp but also the diffusion of the light and therefore the atmosphere it sheds in the surrounding ambiance."

Portable and rechargeable, Estasi is freed from all typology and can be treated as a floor lamp or table lamp, for use both inside and outdoors. More at Davide Groppi.

FD03/01 and FD03/02 are PaperStone tables designed for extrahenrytimi. PaperStone is a composite material, 100% made from recycled post-consumer cardboard that's fireproof, scratchproof and shockproof and yet has "a delicate and pleasant feel" and is rugged enough to be used outside.

The tables have skewed square bases which differ by a few centimeters - the first measures 90x92cm, the second 90x88cm. These slight differences and the specially designed legs mean they stack perfectly, thus making it possible to save space, while by juxtaposing the 90cm sides they create a double-size top and a dynamic and unusual optical effect.
The Estasi lamp and FD03/01, FD03/02 tables will be shown at Milan design week next month.
