Come Up To My Room: First Look
by Harry / January 22, 2010

The 10th edition of the Come Up To My Room show doesn't disappoint. We've seen a few CUTMR's during Toronto Design Week over the years and the 2010 show lives up to its reputation for new and compelling design and art. Of note: Propellor's Mycoligic lighting (above), the Science & Sons Oblique Clock (who are also at IDS) to Julia Hepburn's Can You Remember My Dream installation. More glimpses after the jump.

Propellor's Mycoligic lighting, seen here on the ceiling as you enter CUTMR, was inspired by mushrooms growing on a log.

There are two Science & Sons Oblique Clocks at CUTMR. Per the designers, "The inherent angles and motion of clock hands is exploited via Euclidean geometry to produce isometric projections".

Julia Hepburn's Can You Remember My Dream installation is about the dreams... of a blackbird sleeping in the center of the room.
