Eee PC Seashell Karim Rashid Collection by ASUS

The more subtle, matte version of the Karim Rashid-designed Eee PC Seashell seen at CES 2010 is the coffee brown contrast to the glossy hot pink netbook that has been making the rounds on the web.

Although these new netbooks are extremely slim and lightweight, the fluidity of the waves of the textured finish seem to add heft to the pieces, and certainly allow for easier grip.

In addition to the netbook, the series includes a sleeve, an external hard drive and a mouse. It must be said that the high gloss version gives off an air of being more of an accessory than a tool and gives Dell's palette a run for its money.

Another new ASUS product is the Designo LCD monitor - not just super slim, this monitor is propped up by a unique ring that controls the tilt angle.

If top-notch audio is a requisite, the NX90 Bang & Olufsen ICEpower Notebook offers quality sound reproduction from the two speakers that flank the screen.

And in keeping in line with DJ-friendly characteristics, there are two touch pads, each at either side of the keyboard.
