As the sun's rhythms influence how a flower opens and closes, the Flower_001 lamp moves its own petals according to the heat generated by the light it produces.

Shown at the RAAK exhibition of Rapid Design & Creative Manufacturing in Eindhoven, Flower_001 is the work of Christian Kocx.

The layers are spaced in such a way that the light is evenly distributed.
