A room divider becomes a three-dimensional painting to add atmosphere and warmth to the home, much the way props are needed in the theatre.

This Kamerrekwisiet is a partition by Carolina Wilcke made of oak with sections colour-blocked in thread, à la Mondrian, a requisite prop for daily living.

The threads are carefully wound around the wooden frame to fill in various sections of the partition.

Wilcke is a recent graduate of the Man and Living department at Design Academy Eindhoven.
