Polderceramics by Atelier NL
by Jaime / December 16, 2009

In an ideal 100km diet, vegetables would be served in bowls made from the soil in which they grew.

The Polderceramics from Atelier NL's Drawn From Clay series illustrates
this very principle.

Each piece is made of clay from a different farm, as part of a project based on the relationship between origin and identity, and the social and agricultural importance of the geography of the Noordoostpolder region of central Netherlands.

Based in Eindhoven, Atelier NL is made up of the team of Nadine Sterk and
Lonny van Ryswyck.
