Attention to detail was a common theme in works presented in the Ceramics and Architecture exhibition in Eindhoven during Dutch Design Week.

Akiko Yanagimoto and Moriko Kira showed a screen made up of porcelain rings of different sizes anchored within a frame, inspired by bamboo arrangements of a similar nature. Look carefully to discern the scene of a couple working at a kitchen counter.

Marian Bijlenga relies on nature as well when creating two-tone clay bricks that allow ferns, moss, fungi and small plants to grow.
