Textiles by Angharad McLaren
by Jaime / October 5, 2009

Scottish textile designer Angharad McLaren had a range of work on display at 100% Design London, a collection of outdoors-inspired rugs, wall-hangings and fabrics. McLaren uses techniques that run the gamut from shibori pleating to nautical knotting and uses materials such as ropes, neoprene, wire, silicone rubber and transparent yarns. Sea life and marine environments influence this designer's work, which also manifests itself in soft furnishings and accessories.
