The Dock: Thorsten van Elten, Very Good & Proper, Richard Hartle
by Jaime / October 5, 2009

Sleek new screw-like stools by Thorsten van Elten were a feature at The Dock last week, along with the Canteen line of furniture from the new design company Very Good & Proper. Inspired by post-war school chairs, the Canteen Utility Chair has a seat of pressed beech plywood and a colourful powder-coated steel frame. Also very sleek was the HI-MACS series by Philip Michael Wolfson and Richard Hartle (above).

I love the form of the Richard Hartle table. Beautiful!

We mislabeled the bench, it's actually a table by Richard Hartle who happens to work with Wolfson and was exhibiting his works alongside at The Dock.
