The Design Detail Trail: A Guide to the Overlooked Design Details of East London
by sabine7 / September 22, 2009

As design lovers from all over are exploring London this week during the London Design Festival, an alternative route can be proposed to anyone heading to the East End. The Design Detail Trail is an everyday route that includes fifty design details that are worth pondering. The locations are all centred around the Aldgate East Underground Station, and fit into any visit to sites such as Tent London at the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. Perhaps noticing these fragments of design, architectural and cultural history will encourage explorers to take in other such details along any route.
