28 by Bocci
by Harry / May 19, 2009

Blown glass was a theme at ICFF. Bocci, known for their heavy blown glass spheres introduced 28 at ICFF. Developed by designer Omer Arbel, these spheres are distorted when air is intermittently blown in and sucked out of the "glass matrix" when being made. The result is a sphere with a group of inner shapes, one of which is frosted and houses a bulb. 28 of these are then clustered to create the bigger pendants.
