The 2009 Magis collection is not about bells and whistles, but simple, hard-working design. Having said that, there was a bit of debate over the chair in Konstantin Grcic's 360° family - a love/hate piece for some (above). Pierre Paulin is still going strong; the Flower chair and Elysée shelf were nicely presented in a subtle fashion. Jasper Morrison's Pipe family was somehow suggestive of Maigritte and the Trattoria family was just the right measure of a casual, homey kitchen.
