IDS 09: School Desk Chair
Ontario Collage of Art & Design student Larisa Liepins was showing her School Desk Chair, a rehabilitated circa 1920's school desk chair with new acrylic parts and a light in the drawer below (and an on/off switch on the desktop). Updating an antique- aged oak with acrylic and light.
It's both unique and authentic. So nicely done.
This piece has that rare and elusive ingredient- soul!
